Blue Tangs

The Blue Tangs here are at the various life stages they exhibit, the yellow are intermediate, the blue with yellow tails are juveniles and the blue to purple are adults. Diving in the Florida Keys and in the Caribbean I saw many such schools of fish and was amazed that they were all the same species. Using no background color on this painting does not distract from the glorious colors of the Blue Tangs. Looking closer, you will see that instead of fish eyes I made them more human, I like this as we feel more connected, and hopefully want to protect these wonderful examples on nature at it's best.
